Original Summary

Read Deuteronomy Chapter 33 Summary

Moses' blessing upon the tribes before his death invokes the Lord's theophany at Sinai and His kingship over Jeshurun. Each tribe receives prophetic blessing: Joseph's fruitfulness and strength, Judah's military prowess, Levi's priestly teaching and judgment, Benjamin's security, and others. The incomparable God of Jeshurun rides the heavens to help Israel, whose eternal arms are underneath, and Israel dwells in safety, blessed beyond all peoples.
