Deuteronomy 11 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Deuteronomy Chapter 11 Summary

The greatness of God demonstrated through Egypt's plagues and Israel's deliverance demands love and obedience, teaching children these mighty acts. The promised land differs from Egypt in depending on rainfall from heaven, which God will give or withhold based on covenant faithfulness. Blessing and curse are set before Israel: blessing for obedience, curse for idolatry, to be pronounced from Mounts Gerizim and Ebal upon entering the land.
