Deuteronomy 12 - Summary

All Canaanite worship sites must be utterly destroyed, but Israel must worship only at the place the Lord chooses to establish His name. Sacrifices, tithes, and votive offerings must be brought there for communal rejoicing, though meat may be slaughtered locally for ordinary consumption. The prohibition against eating blood is reiterated, and Israel must resist curiosity about pagan worship practices that include child sacrifice.
