Jeremiah 4 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Jeremiah Chapter 4 Summary

If Israel returns, putting away abominations and swearing truthfully, nations shall bless themselves in God. Jeremiah calls Judah to circumcise their hearts before God's wrath breaks forth like fire. Disaster approaches from the north; lions arise from their thickets. Jeremiah sees a vision of cosmic desolation: earth formless and void, cities ruined, yet God will not make a full end.
