Jeremiah 3 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Jeremiah Chapter 3 Summary

Though a divorced wife cannot return to her first husband, God calls faithless Israel to return. Judah saw apostate Israel's exile but did not fear, playing the harlot herself. God calls His backsliding children to return and promises to give them shepherds after His own heart; in those days Jerusalem will be called the LORD's throne, and all nations shall gather to it.
