God, Israel's Creator and Redeemer, has called them by name; when they pass through waters and fire, He is with them. He gave Egypt as ransom for them because they are precious in His sight. God, the only Savior, does a new thing—making a way in the wilderness. He blots out transgressions for His own sake and will not remember their sins.
