Hezekiah was one of the most righteous kings of Judah. He instituted religious reforms, destroyed idols, and restored proper worship. When Assyria threatened Jerusalem, he prayed to God, and the angel of the Lord destroyed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When he fell deathly ill, God granted him 15 more years of life.
