Hezekiah becomes mortally ill; Isaiah tells him to prepare for death. Hezekiah prays and weeps, and God grants him fifteen more years, moving the sun's shadow backward as a sign. Hezekiah writes a song of thanksgiving praising God for delivering his soul from the pit and casting all his sins behind His back.
