Revelation 5 - Summary

A scroll sealed with seven seals rests in the right hand of the One on the throne, and John weeps because no one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth is found worthy to open it. An elder announces that the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed, but John sees a Lamb standing as though slain, with seven horns and seven eyes, who takes the scroll from the throne. The four living creatures and twenty-four elders fall before the Lamb singing a new song, joined by myriads of angels and every creature in creation declaring the Lamb worthy to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing.
