Revelation 3 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Revelation Chapter 3 Summary

Messages continue to the final three churches: Sardis has a reputation for life but is spiritually dead, warned to wake up lest Christ come like a thief, though a faithful remnant will walk with Him in white; Philadelphia, despite little power, has kept Christ's word and receives an open door none can shut, with promises of protection from the coming hour of trial and a pillar in God's temple. Laodicea, lukewarm and self-satisfied yet actually wretched, poor, blind, and naked, is counseled to buy refined gold, white garments, and eye salve, with Christ standing at the door knocking, offering to dine with whoever opens.
