Joel 3 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Joel Chapter 3 Summary

In the eschatological day when the LORD restores Judah and Jerusalem, He will gather all nations to the Valley of Jehoshaphat for judgment concerning their treatment of Israel—scattering His people, dividing His land, and selling Jewish children for prostitutes and wine. The nations are summoned to prepare war, beat plowshares into swords, and gather for the final harvest when the LORD roars from Zion and the heavens and earth shake. Yet Zion will be holy, Egypt and Edom will be desolate for violence against Judah, a fountain will flow from the LORD's house, and the LORD will dwell in Zion forever—the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
