God tells Jeremiah to write His words: days are coming when He restores Israel and Judah to their land. Though Jacob's trouble is great—no woman gives birth like this—he shall be saved from it. God will break the yoke, Israel shall serve the LORD and David their king. God heals their wounds; Zion's oppressors will be destroyed.
