Zechariah sees a golden lampstand with seven lamps fed by two olive trees, representing the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: not by might nor by power but by God's Spirit will the temple be completed. The hands that laid the foundation will finish it; the seven lamps are the eyes of the LORD ranging through all the earth, and the two olive trees are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of all the earth.
