Proverbs 10 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Proverbs Chapter 10 Summary

Here begin the proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother. Ill-gotten treasures profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death. The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry; diligent hands make rich while slack hands bring poverty. A prudent son gathers in summer; a son who sleeps in harvest brings shame. Blessings are on the head of the righteous; the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. Wise men store up knowledge; the babbling of a fool brings ruin.
