Judgment is pronounced on the priests, the house of Israel, and the royal house who have been a snare at Mizpah and a net spread on Tabor; Ephraim's prostitution has defiled Israel. When they seek the LORD with their flocks, they will not find Him for He has withdrawn; their dealings with Assyria and King Jareb cannot heal them. God will be like a lion tearing prey until they acknowledge their guilt and seek His face.
