Hebrews 5 - Summary

Every high priest is appointed from among humans to represent them before God, offering gifts and sacrifices for sins; Christ did not glorify Himself but was appointed by the Father as priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Though He was the Son, He learned obedience through suffering and became the source of eternal salvation; the author rebukes readers who should be teachers but still need elementary instruction.
