Ezekiel 31 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Ezekiel Chapter 31 Summary

God asks Pharaoh whom he resembles in greatness, then describes Assyria as a great cedar in Lebanon—beautiful, tall, envied by all trees of Eden. But because of its pride, God gave it to the nations; it was cut down and cast to Sheol. Egypt, too, will be brought down to the pit.
