He made the altar of burnt offering out of shittim wood. It was five cubits long and five cubits wide, square in shape, and three cubits high.
He made its horns on its four corners. The horns were all of one piece with it, and he covered it with brass.
He made all the vessels of the altar: the pots, the shovels, the basins, the fleshhooks, and the firepans. He made all its vessels of brass.
For the altar he made a brass grating of network. It went under the rim of the altar, reaching halfway up.
He cast four rings of brass for the four ends of the grating, to hold the poles.
He made the poles of shittim wood and covered them with brass.
He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, so that it could be carried with them. He made the altar hollow, out of boards.
He made the basin of brass, and its base of brass, out of the mirrors of the women who gathered at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
He made the court. On the south side, facing south, the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits long.
Their pillars were twenty, and their brass sockets twenty. The hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.
On the north side the hangings were a hundred cubits long. Their pillars were twenty, and their brass sockets twenty. The hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.
On the west side there were hangings of fifty cubits. Their pillars were ten, and their sockets ten. The hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.
On the east side, facing east, the court was fifty cubits.
The hangings on one side of the gate were fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three sockets.
On the other side of the court gate, on this side and on that, there were hangings of fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three sockets.
All the hangings around the court were of fine twined linen.
The sockets for the pillars were of brass. The hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver, and the tops of the pillars were covered with silver. All the pillars of the court had bands of silver.
The hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, made of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen. It was twenty cubits long, and its height, in the width, was five cubits, matching the hangings of the court.
Their pillars were four, and their brass sockets four. Their hooks were of silver, and the covering of their tops and their bands were of silver.
All the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court all around, were of brass.
This is the total for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, as it was counted at the command of Moses. It was counted for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything the LORD commanded Moses.
With him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. He was an engraver, a skilled workman, and an embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
All the gold used for the work, in all the work of the holy place, that is, the gold of the offering, was twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary.
The silver from those of the congregation who were counted was a hundred talents and one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary.
That was a bekah for each man, that is, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary, for everyone who went to be counted, from twenty years old and upward. They were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men.
From the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary and the sockets of the veil: a hundred sockets from the hundred talents, a talent for each socket.
From the one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and covered their tops, and made bands for them.
The brass of the offering was seventy talents and two thousand four hundred shekels.
With it he made the sockets for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, the brass altar, the brass grating for it, and all the vessels of the altar,
and the sockets of the court all around, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court all around.
