Read Zechariah Chapter 14

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

Look, the day of the LORD is coming. What is taken from you will be divided up right in front of you.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. The city will be captured, the houses robbed, and the women raped. Half of the city will go out into captivity, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.

Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.

On that day his feet will stand on the mount of Olives, which is east of Jerusalem. The mount of Olives will split in half from east to west, and there will be a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move north, and half of it south.

And you will run to the valley of the mountains, for that valley will reach to Azal. You will run as you ran from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with you.

On that day the light will not be clear, nor dark.

It will be one day known to the LORD, not day and not night. But in the evening there will be light.

On that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half toward the western sea. It will be so in summer and in winter.

And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name one.

All the land will be made flat like a plain, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will be lifted up and will stay where it is, from Benjamin's gate to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses.

People will live in it, and it will never again be destroyed. Jerusalem will be a safe place to live.

And this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh will rot away while they stand on their feet. Their eyes will rot away in their sockets, and their tongues will rot away in their mouths.

On that day a great panic from the LORD will come on them. Each one will seize the hand of his neighbour, and his hand will be raised against the hand of his neighbour.

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the nations around will be gathered together: gold, silver, and clothing in great amounts.

And the same plague will fall on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the animals in those camps.

And everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And if any of the families of the earth will not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, no rain will fall on them.

And if the family of Egypt does not go up and come, they will have no rain. The plague will come on them, the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations that do not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that do not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

On that day there will be written on the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD. And the pots in the LORD's house will be like the bowls before the altar.

Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of hosts. All who offer sacrifices will come and take some of them and boil meat in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
