Titus 3 - Summary

Paul reminds Titus to submit to rulers and authorities, be ready for every good work, speak evil of no one, be gentle and considerate, for believers themselves were once foolish, disobedient, enslaved to passions, until God's kindness and love appeared, saving them not by works of righteousness but by mercy through regeneration's washing and the Holy Spirit's renewal poured out richly through Jesus Christ. Titus should insist on these truths so believers devote themselves to good works, avoiding foolish controversies, genealogies, and legal disputes; a divisive person should be warned twice then rejected, and Paul closes with travel instructions and greetings.
