Titus 2 - Summary

Paul instructs Titus on teaching various groups: older men to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, love, and perseverance; older women to be reverent, not slanderers or enslaved to wine, teaching what is good so they may train younger women to love husbands and children, be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, and submissive to their husbands. Younger men should be sensible, with Titus himself a model of good works; slaves should be submissive, not pilfering but showing fidelity, adorning God's doctrine; for grace has appeared, training believers to deny ungodliness and live sensibly, righteously, and godly, awaiting the blessed hope.
