Revelation 22 - Summary

Original Summary

Read Revelation Chapter 22 Summary

The angel shows John the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb through the city's street, with the tree of life on either side bearing twelve fruits monthly, its leaves for the healing of nations. No more curse will exist; God's servants will see His face, His name on their foreheads, reigning forever in His light. The angel affirms these words are faithful and true; Jesus declares He is coming quickly, and blessed is the one who keeps this prophecy; John is told not to seal the book for the time is near. Jesus identifies Himself as Alpha and Omega, the Root and Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star; the Spirit and Bride say "Come," inviting all who thirst to take the water of life freely, with warning against adding to or removing from this prophecy's words—"Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!"
