Revelation 10 - Summary

A mighty angel wrapped in cloud with rainbow, face like the sun, and legs like pillars of fire descends with a little scroll open, setting one foot on sea and one on land, crying with a lion's voice as seven thunders speak sealed mysteries. The angel swears by the Creator that when the seventh trumpet sounds, the mystery of God will be finished as announced to the prophets. John is commanded to take and eat the scroll—sweet in mouth but bitter in stomach—and told he must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.
