Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered. Let those who hate him run away from him.
As smoke is blown away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish in the presence of God.
But let the righteous be glad. Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice with great joy.
Sing to God, sing praises to his name. Lift up a song to him who rides upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
God in his holy dwelling is a father to those who have no father, and a judge who defends the widows.
God sets the lonely in families. He brings out those who are bound with chains. But the rebellious live in a dry land.
God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, Selah:
the earth shook, and the heavens poured down rain in the presence of God. Sinai itself shook in the presence of God, the God of Israel.
You, God, sent plenty of rain. You made your inheritance strong again when it was weary.
Your people have lived in it. God, in your goodness you provided for the poor.
The Lord gave the word. Great was the company of those who told the news.
Kings with their armies fled quickly, and the woman who stayed at home divided what was taken.
Though you have lain among the sheepfolds, you will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
When the Almighty scattered kings there, it was white as snow on Salmon.
The hill of God is like the hill of Bashan, a high hill like the hill of Bashan.
Why do you look with envy, you high hills? This is the hill where God has chosen to live. Yes, the LORD will live in it for ever.
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels. The Lord is among them, as at Sinai, in the holy place.
You have gone up on high. You have led captivity captive. You have received gifts for people, even for the rebellious, so that the LORD God might live among them.
Blessed be the Lord, who every day loads us with good things, the God who saves us. Selah.
Our God is the God who saves, and to GOD the Lord belong the ways of escape from death.
But God will strike the heads of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of the one who keeps going on in his sins.
The Lord said, "I will bring them back from Bashan. I will bring my people back from the depths of the sea,"
"so that your foot may be dipped in the blood of your enemies, and the tongues of your dogs in it too."
They have seen your processions, God, the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
The singers went in front, the players on instruments followed after. Among them were the girls playing timbrels.
Bless God in the gatherings, bless the Lord, you who come from the fountain of Israel.
There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their company, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
Your God has commanded your strength. Make strong, God, what you have done for us.
Rebuke the company of spearmen, the crowd of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, till everyone submits with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples who delight in war.
Princes will come out of Egypt. Ethiopia will soon stretch out her hands to God.
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. Selah.
Sing to him who rides upon the highest heavens, which were there from of old. Look, he sends out his voice, and it is a mighty voice.
Give strength to God as his due. His majesty is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
God, you are awesome from your holy places. The God of Israel is the one who gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God.
