Proverbs 4 - Summary

Solomon recounts his father David's teaching: get wisdom, prize her, and she will exalt you. The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter until full day; the way of the wicked is like deep darkness. Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life; put away crooked speech and devious talk; let your eyes look directly forward; ponder the path of your feet and do not swerve to the right or left.
