Read Leviticus Chapter 6

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

The LORD spoke to Moses and said,

"If anyone sins and does wrong against the LORD by lying to his neighbour about something left with him to keep, or about something held in fellowship, or about something taken by force, or if he has cheated his neighbour;"

or if he has found something that was lost and lies about it, and swears falsely: if a man does any of these things, he sins in doing them.

Then, because he has sinned and is guilty, he must give back what he took by force, or what he got by cheating, or what was left with him to keep, or the lost thing he found,

or anything he swore falsely about. He must pay back the full amount, and add a fifth part more to it. He must give it to the one it belongs to, on the day he brings his trespass offering.

He must bring his trespass offering to the LORD: a ram from the flock without any fault, worth the value you set, as a trespass offering, and give it to the priest.

"The priest will make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven for whatever he did that made him guilty."

The LORD spoke to Moses and said,

"Give this command to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering is to stay on the altar, burning all night until morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning in it."

The priest shall put on his linen robe, and put linen undergarments on his body. He shall take up the ashes left when the fire burned up the burnt offering on the altar, and put them beside the altar.

Then he shall take off his clothes and put on other clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

The fire on the altar shall be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest shall burn wood on it, and lay the burnt offering on it in order, and burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

The fire shall always be burning on the altar. It shall never go out.

This is the law of the food offering. The sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, in front of the altar.

The priest shall take a handful of it, of the flour of the food offering and of its oil, with all the frankincense that is on the food offering. He shall burn it on the altar as a sweet smell, the memorial part of it, to the LORD.

Aaron and his sons shall eat what is left of it. It must be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They shall eat it in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

It shall not be baked with yeast. I have given it to them as their share of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, like the sin offering and the trespass offering.

"Every male among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. This is a law for ever, for all your generations, about the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Everyone who touches them shall be holy."

The LORD spoke to Moses and said,

"This is the offering that Aaron and his sons shall offer to the LORD on the day he is anointed: a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour as a food offering, given regularly, half of it in the morning and half of it at night."

It shall be made with oil in a pan. When it is baked, you shall bring it in. You shall offer the baked pieces of the food offering as a sweet smell to the LORD.

The priest among his sons who is anointed in his place shall offer it. This is a law for ever to the LORD: it shall be burned completely.

"Every food offering for the priest shall be burned completely. It must not be eaten."

The LORD spoke to Moses and said,

"Speak to Aaron and to his sons and say, This is the law of the sin offering. The sin offering shall be killed before the LORD in the place where the burnt offering is killed. It is most holy."

The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Whatever touches its flesh shall be holy. If any of its blood is sprinkled on a garment, you shall wash the thing it was sprinkled on in a holy place.

The clay pot it was boiled in must be broken. If it was boiled in a brass pot, the pot must be scrubbed and rinsed with water.

Every male among the priests shall eat of it. It is most holy.

"But no sin offering shall be eaten if any of its blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to make atonement in the holy place. It shall be burned in the fire."
