Read Leviticus Chapter 7

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

This also is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

They must kill the trespass offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. Its blood shall be sprinkled all around on the altar.

He shall offer all its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the inner parts,

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, by the flanks, and the covering above the liver, which he shall take away with the kidneys.

The priest shall burn them on the altar as an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a trespass offering.

Every male among the priests may eat it. It shall be eaten in the holy place. It is most holy.

The trespass offering is like the sin offering. There is one law for them both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

The priest who offers any man's burnt offering shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering he has offered.

Every food offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is cooked in the frying pan or in the pan, belongs to the priest who offers it.

Every food offering, whether mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, each one as much as another.

This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which someone shall offer to the LORD.

If he offers it to give thanks, then with the thank offering he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes of fine flour mixed with oil and fried.

Along with the cakes, he shall offer leavened bread with his thank offering of peace offerings.

Out of the whole offering he shall present one of each kind as a heave offering to the LORD. It shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

The meat of his thank offering of peace offerings must be eaten on the same day it is offered. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.

But if his sacrifice is because of a vow, or is a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he offers his sacrifice. What is left of it may also be eaten the next day.

But whatever meat of the sacrifice is left on the third day shall be burned with fire.

If any of the meat of his peace offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it will not be accepted. It will not be counted to the one who offered it. It shall be a disgusting thing, and the person who eats it shall bear his guilt.

Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the other meat, everyone who is clean may eat it.

But the person who eats the meat of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belongs to the LORD, while he is unclean, that person shall be cut off from his people.

And if anyone touches something unclean, whether the uncleanness of a man, or any unclean animal, or any disgusting unclean thing, and then eats the meat of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belongs to the LORD, that person shall be cut off from his people.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel and say, 'You shall eat no fat at all, whether of ox, or of sheep, or of goat."

The fat of an animal that dies by itself, and the fat of one torn by wild animals, may be used for any other purpose, but you must never eat it.

For whoever eats the fat of an animal from which men offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, that person shall be cut off from his people.

You shall eat no blood at all, whether of bird or of animal, in any of your homes.

"Whoever eats any blood shall be cut off from his people.'"

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel and say, 'Whoever offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to the LORD shall bring his gift to the LORD from the sacrifice of his peace offerings."

With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, so that the breast may be waved as a wave offering before the LORD.

The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons.

You shall give the right shoulder to the priest as a heave offering from the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right shoulder as his share.

"For I have taken the breast that is waved and the shoulder that is lifted up from the children of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as a lasting rule among the children of Israel.'"

This is the share for Aaron and for his sons, given at their anointing, from the offerings of the LORD made by fire, on the day when he presented them to serve the LORD as priests.

The LORD commanded that this be given to them by the children of Israel, on the day that he anointed them. It is a lasting rule through all their generations.

This is the law of the burnt offering, of the food offering, of the sin offering, of the trespass offering, of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings,

which the LORD commanded Moses on Mount Sinai, on the day that he commanded the children of Israel to bring their offerings to the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.
