Read Ezekiel Chapter 36 Summary

God prophesies to the mountains of Israel: though nations mocked and invaded them, God will make them fruitful again and multiply people upon them. For His own name's sake - not Israel's merit - God will gather Israel from the nations, cleanse them from impurity, give them a new heart and spirit, and put His Spirit within them.

Garden of Eden

The Garden of Eden was the paradise God created for Adam and Eve, featuring the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Four rivers flowed from Eden: the Pishon, Gihon, Tigris (Hiddekel), and Euphrates. After the Fall, humanity was banished from the garden, and cherubim with a flaming sword guarded its entrance.
