The Spirit brings Ezekiel to the east gate where he sees twenty-five leaders giving wicked counsel, and God commands him to prophesy against them. Pelatiah dies as Ezekiel prophesies; God promises to be a sanctuary to the exiles and to give them a new heart of flesh, then His glory departs from the city to the Mount of Olives.
