Spiritual Lessons

Gratitude Transforms into Devotion

Mary was delivered from seven demons and responded with total devotion to Jesus. Those who have been forgiven much, love much. True gratitude for what Christ has done produces lifelong faithfulness.

Faithfulness When Others Flee

When most disciples fled at Jesus' arrest, Mary remained at the cross and later at the tomb. True discipleship means staying close to Jesus even in the darkest moments when others abandon Him.

God Uses the Transformed

A woman once possessed by seven demons became the first witness of the resurrection. Your past does not disqualify you from being used by God; your transformation becomes your testimony.

Jesus Knows Your Name

Mary did not recognize the risen Jesus until He spoke her name. Jesus knows us personally and calls us by name. In our confusion and grief, His personal word breaks through.

Don't Cling, Go and Tell

Jesus told Mary not to cling to Him but to go and tell others. Encounters with Jesus are not meant to be hoarded but shared. Every experience of Christ should propel us to witness.
