Manasseh was the son of Hezekiah who became king of Judah at age twelve. He was the most wicked king, rebuilding pagan altars and practicing sorcery. After being captured by Assyria, he repented and God restored him. He removed idols and restored worship of the Lord.

Manasseh was Judah's most wicked king—practicing child sacrifice, sorcery, and filling Jerusalem with blood. Yet when he humbled himself, God heard and restored him. If Manasseh could repent, no one is beyond God's grace.
