Read Psalms Chapter 114

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

When Israel came out of Egypt, when the house of Jacob left a people of a strange language,

Judah became his sanctuary, and Israel his kingdom.

The sea saw it, and fled; the Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

What was wrong with you, sea, that you fled? And you, Jordan, that you were driven back?

You mountains, that you skipped like rams; and you little hills, like lambs?

Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.

He turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water.
