The pursuit of wisdom is commended: treasure commandments, incline the ear, call out for understanding, seek it like silver and search for it as hidden treasure—then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. The LORD gives wisdom, stores up sound wisdom for the upright, and guards the paths of justice. Wisdom delivers from the way of evil men who forsake upright paths for dark ways, and from the forbidden woman whose seductive words lead to death and Sheol.
