The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Say this also to the children of Israel: Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death. The people of the land are to stone him with stones."
"I will set my face against that man, and I will cut him off from among his people. For he has given his child to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name."
"And if the people of the land close their eyes in any way to that man when he gives his child to Molech, and do not kill him,"
"then I myself will set my face against that man and against his family. I will cut him off from among their people, and with him all who follow him in chasing after Molech like a prostitute."
"And if anyone turns to those who have familiar spirits, or to wizards, chasing after them like a prostitute, I will set my face against that person and cut him off from among his people."
"So make yourselves holy, and be holy, for I am the LORD your God."
"You shall keep my laws and do them. I am the LORD who makes you holy."
"Everyone who curses his father or his mother must be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood is on his own head."
"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, that is, with the wife of his neighbour, both the man and the woman must be put to death."
"If a man lies with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness. Both of them must be put to death. Their blood is on their own heads."
"If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have done a confused and shameful thing. Their blood is on their own heads."
"If a man lies with a man as he lies with a woman, both of them have done something detestable. They must be put to death. Their blood is on their own heads."
"If a man takes both a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. He and they shall be burned with fire, so that there is no such wickedness among you."
"If a man lies with an animal, he must be put to death, and you shall kill the animal."
"If a woman goes near any animal and lies down with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They must be put to death. Their blood is on their own heads."
"If a man takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shameful thing. They shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness. He shall carry his own guilt."
"If a man lies with a woman during her monthly bleeding and uncovers her nakedness, he has laid bare her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people."
"You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or of your father's sister, for that is to uncover a close relative. They shall carry their own guilt."
"If a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness. They shall carry their sin. They shall die childless."
"If a man takes his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother's nakedness. They shall be childless."
"So you shall keep all my laws and all my judgments, and do them, so that the land where I am bringing you to live does not spit you out."
"You shall not live by the customs of the nation that I am driving out before you. They did all these things, and so I hated them."
"But I have said to you, 'You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from other peoples."
"So you shall make a difference between clean animals and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean. You shall not make yourselves detestable by any animal, or bird, or any sort of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have set apart from you as unclean."
"You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am holy, and I have separated you from other peoples so that you should be mine."
"A man or a woman who has a familiar spirit, or who is a wizard, must be put to death. They shall stone them with stones. Their blood is on their own heads."
