The LORD spoke to Moses. He said,
"This is the law for the leper on the day he is made clean. He shall be brought to the priest."
"The priest shall go outside the camp. The priest shall look at him, and if the disease of leprosy in the leper is healed,"
"then the priest shall give orders to take, for the one who is to be made clean, two living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop."
"The priest shall give orders that one of the birds be killed in a clay pot over running water."
"He shall take the living bird, with the cedar wood, the scarlet, and the hyssop. He shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water."
"He shall sprinkle it seven times on the one who is to be made clean from the leprosy. He shall declare him clean, and let the living bird go free into the open field."
"The one who is to be made clean shall wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water. Then he will be clean. After that he may come into the camp, but he must stay outside his tent for seven days."
"On the seventh day he shall shave off all the hair of his head, his beard, and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair. He shall wash his clothes and wash his body in water, and he will be clean."
"On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one female lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenth measures of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil."
"The priest who makes him clean shall set the man who is to be made clean, and these things, before the LORD at the door of the tent of meeting."
"The priest shall take one male lamb and offer it as a trespass offering, with the log of oil. He shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD."
"He shall kill the lamb in the place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are killed, in the holy place. The trespass offering belongs to the priest, just as the sin offering does. It is most holy."
"The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering. He shall put it on the tip of the right ear of the man who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot."
"The priest shall take some of the log of oil and pour it into the palm of his own left hand."
"The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand. With his finger he shall sprinkle some of the oil seven times before the LORD."
"Some of the oil that is left in his hand the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of the man who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the trespass offering."
"The rest of the oil in the priest's hand he shall pour on the head of the man who is to be made clean. So the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD."
"The priest shall offer the sin offering and make atonement for the man who is to be made clean from his uncleanness. After that he shall kill the burnt offering."
"The priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. So the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be clean."
"If he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth measure of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil,"
"and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford. One shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering."
"On the eighth day he shall bring them to the priest for his cleansing, to the door of the tent of meeting, before the LORD."
"The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD."
"He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of the man who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot."
"The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand."
"With his right finger the priest shall sprinkle some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD."
"The priest shall put some of the oil in his hand on the tip of the right ear of the man who is to be made clean, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place where the blood of the trespass offering was put."
"The rest of the oil in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of the man who is to be made clean, to make atonement for him before the LORD."
"He shall offer one of the turtledoves or one of the young pigeons, whichever he can afford,"
"such as he is able to afford: one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, with the grain offering. So the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the man who is to be made clean."
"This is the law for the man who has the disease of leprosy and who cannot afford what is needed for his cleansing."
"When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you as your own, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house in the land you possess,"
"then the owner of the house shall come and tell the priest, 'It looks to me as if there is some kind of plague in the house.'"
"Then the priest shall give orders to empty the house before he goes in to look at the plague, so that everything in the house will not be made unclean. After that the priest shall go in to look at the house."
"He shall look at the plague. If the plague in the walls of the house is in hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and they look deeper than the surface of the wall,"
"then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut the house up for seven days."
"The priest shall come again on the seventh day and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,"
"then the priest shall give orders to take out the stones where the plague is, and to throw them into an unclean place outside the city."
"He shall have the house scraped all round on the inside, and the dust they scrape off shall be poured out into an unclean place outside the city."
"They shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones. He shall take other mortar and plaster the house."
"If the plague comes again and breaks out in the house after the stones have been taken out, and after the house has been scraped and plastered,"
"then the priest shall come and look. If the plague has spread in the house, it is an eating leprosy in the house. The house is unclean."
"He shall pull down the house, its stones, its timber, and all the mortar of the house. He shall carry them out of the city to an unclean place."
"Anyone who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening."
"Anyone who sleeps in the house shall wash his clothes, and anyone who eats in the house shall wash his clothes."
"But if the priest comes in and looks at it, and the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall declare the house clean, because the plague is healed."
"To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop."
"He shall kill one of the birds in a clay pot over running water."
"He shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the killed bird and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times."
"So he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet."
"But he shall let the living bird go free out of the city into the open fields. So he shall make atonement for the house, and it will be clean."
"This is the law for every kind of plague of leprosy, and for scall,"
"and for the leprosy of a garment and of a house,"
"and for a swelling, and for a scab, and for a bright spot,"
"to teach when a thing is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy."
