Read Ezekiel Chapter 45

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

When you divide the land by lot as an inheritance, you shall set apart a gift for the LORD, a holy portion of the land. Its length shall be twenty-five thousand reeds, and its breadth ten thousand. This shall be holy in all its borders round about.

Of this, a square of five hundred by five hundred shall be for the sanctuary, with fifty cubits of open land round about it.

From this measure you shall measure a length of twenty-five thousand and a breadth of ten thousand. In it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.

The holy portion of the land shall belong to the priests, who serve in the sanctuary and come near to serve the LORD. It shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

An area twenty-five thousand long and ten thousand broad shall belong to the Levites, who serve in the house, as their possession, for twenty rooms.

You shall give the city a possession five thousand broad and twenty-five thousand long, beside the gift of the holy portion. It shall belong to the whole house of Israel.

A portion shall be for the prince, on one side and on the other side of the holy gift and of the city's possession. It shall lie beside the holy gift and beside the city's possession, on the west side reaching westward, and on the east side reaching eastward. Its length shall match one of the tribal portions, from the west border to the east border.

This land shall be his possession in Israel. My princes shall no longer oppress my people, but shall give the rest of the land to the house of Israel, tribe by tribe.

This is what the Lord GOD says: "You have gone far enough, princes of Israel. Put away violence and robbery, and do what is just and right. Stop driving my people from their land," says the Lord GOD.

You shall have honest scales, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.

The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure. The bath shall hold a tenth of a homer, and the ephah a tenth of a homer. Both shall be measured by the homer.

The shekel shall be twenty gerahs. Twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall make your maneh.

This is the offering you shall give: a sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat, and a sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.

This is the rule for oil, measured by the bath: you shall give a tenth of a bath out of each cor, which is a homer of ten baths, for ten baths are a homer.

And one lamb from the flock, out of every two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel. These are for the food offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the people, says the Lord GOD.

All the people of the land shall give this offering to the prince in Israel.

It shall be the prince's duty to provide the burnt offerings, the food offerings, and the drink offerings at the feasts, at the new moons, on the sabbaths, and at all the appointed festivals of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the food offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

This is what the Lord GOD says: "In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary."

The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the house, on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.

You shall do the same on the seventh day of the month for everyone who sins by mistake, and for anyone who is simple. So you shall make reconciliation for the house.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall keep the passover, a feast of seven days. Unleavened bread shall be eaten.

On that day the prince shall prepare a bull as a sin offering for himself and for all the people of the land.

During the seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD: seven bulls and seven rams without blemish each day for the seven days, and a young goat each day for a sin offering.

He shall prepare a food offering of an ephah for each bull and an ephah for each ram, with a hin of oil for each ephah.

"In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, he shall do the same at the feast for the seven days: the same sin offering, the same burnt offering, the same food offering, and the same oil."
