"Son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, This is what the Lord GOD says: Look, I am against you, Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal."
"I will turn you back, and leave only a sixth part of you. I will make you come up from the far north, and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel."
"I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and make your arrows fall out of your right hand."
"You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples with you. I will give you to the birds of prey of every kind, and to the wild animals, to be eaten."
"You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD."
"I will send a fire on Magog, and on those who live safely in the coastlands. Then they will know that I am the LORD."
"So I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I will not let them make my holy name unclean any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel."
"Look, it is coming, and it will be done, says the Lord GOD. This is the day I have spoken about."
"Those who live in the cities of Israel will go out. They will set the weapons on fire and burn them: the shields large and small, the bows and the arrows, the clubs and the spears. They will burn them for seven years."
"They will take no wood from the field, and cut none from the forests, because they will burn the weapons with fire. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them, says the Lord GOD."
"On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the valley of those who travel east of the sea. It will block the way of the travellers. There they will bury Gog and all his crowd, and they will call it The Valley of Hamongog."
"For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, so that they may make the land clean."
"All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them honour on the day when I show my glory, says the Lord GOD."
"They will set apart men who work at this all the time, passing through the land. With the travellers, they will bury those who are left lying on the ground, to make the land clean. After the seven months are over, they will search it."
"When those passing through the land see a human bone, they will set up a marker beside it, until the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamongog."
"And the name of the city will be Hamonah. This is how they will make the land clean."
"Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: Speak to every kind of bird, and to every wild animal, Gather yourselves and come. Come together from every side to my sacrifice, which I am making for you, a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, so that you may eat flesh and drink blood."
"You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as if they were rams, lambs, goats and bulls, all of them fattened animals of Bashan."
"You will eat fat till you are full, and drink blood till you are drunk, at my sacrifice which I have made for you."
"So you will be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men and with all kinds of soldiers, says the Lord GOD."
"I will set my glory among the nations. All the nations will see the judgment I have carried out, and my hand that I have laid on them."
"So the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day on."
"And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their sin. Because they broke faith with me, I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their enemies. So they all fell by the sword."
"I dealt with them as their uncleanness and their wrongdoing deserved, and I hid my face from them."
"Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob. I will have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name."
"They will have borne their shame, and all the wrongs they did against me, when they lived safely in their land with no one to make them afraid."
"When I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, I will be shown holy through them in the sight of many nations."
"Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, who had them led away into captivity among the nations, but who gathered them to their own land, and left none of them there any more."
"I will not hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel, says the Lord GOD."
