1"You shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twisted linen, with blue, purple, and scarlet. You shall have a skilled worker make them with cherubims worked into them."
2"Each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide. All the curtains shall be the same size."
3"Five of the curtains shall be joined together, one to another, and the other five curtains shall be joined together as well."
4"You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the last curtain of the first set, along the edge where they join. Do the same on the outer edge of the last curtain in the second set."
5"You shall make fifty loops on the one curtain, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain in the second set, so that the loops match one another."
6"You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and join the curtains together with the clasps. Then it shall be one tabernacle."
7"You shall make curtains of goats' hair to be a tent over the tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains."
8"Each curtain shall be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. All eleven curtains shall be the same size."
9"You shall join five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and you shall fold the sixth curtain double at the front of the tabernacle."
10"You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the outermost curtain of the first set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that joins the second set."
11"You shall make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and join the tent together, so that it is one."
12"The part of the tent curtains that is left over, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle."
13"A cubit on the one side and a cubit on the other side of what is left over in the length of the tent curtains shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side, to cover it."
14"You shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that."
15"You shall make upright boards for the tabernacle out of shittim wood."
16"Each board shall be ten cubits long, and each board one cubit and a half wide."
17"Each board shall have two tenons, set evenly, one opposite the other. You shall do this for all the boards of the tabernacle."
18"You shall make the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side, facing south."
19"You shall make forty sockets of silver to go under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under the next board for its two tenons."
20"For the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, there shall be twenty boards,"
21"and their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under the next board."
22"For the back of the tabernacle, toward the west, you shall make six boards."
23"You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the back."
24"They shall be joined together at the bottom, and joined together at the top to one ring. It shall be so for both of them; they shall be for the two corners."
25"So there shall be eight boards, with their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under the next board."
26"You shall make bars of shittim wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,"
27"and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards at the back of the tabernacle, toward the west."
28"The middle bar, halfway up the boards, shall reach from end to end."
29"You shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold to hold the bars. You shall overlay the bars with gold."
30"You shall set up the tabernacle according to the plan for it that was shown you on the mountain."
31"You shall make a veil of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twisted linen, the work of a skilled worker. It shall be made with cherubims."
32"You shall hang it on four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and they shall stand on four sockets of silver."
33"You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there, inside the veil. The veil shall divide for you the holy place from the most holy."
34"You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place."
35"You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle. You shall put the table on the north side."
36"You shall make a screen for the door of the tent, of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twisted linen, worked with needlework."
37"For the screen you shall make five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five sockets of brass for them."
