The LORD spoke to Moses. He said,

"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them to bring me an offering. You shall take my offering from every man who gives it willingly with his heart."

"This is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, and silver, and brass,"

"and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,"

"and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,"

"oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,"

"onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate."

"Let them make me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them."

"You shall make it just as I show you, following the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings."

"They shall make an ark of shittim wood. It shall be two cubits and a half long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high."

"You shall cover it with pure gold, inside and outside. And you shall make a gold border around the top of it."

"You shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them at its four corners. Two rings shall be on one side of it, and two rings on the other side."

"You shall make poles of shittim wood, and cover them with gold."

"You shall put the poles into the rings at the sides of the ark, so that the ark may be carried with them."

"The poles shall stay in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken out of it."

"You shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you."

"You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. It shall be two cubits and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide."

"You shall make two cherubims of gold. You shall make them of hammered work, at the two ends of the mercy seat."

"Make one cherub on one end, and the other cherub on the other end. You shall make the cherubims out of the mercy seat itself, at its two ends."

"The cherubims shall spread their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings. Their faces shall look toward each other. The faces of the cherubims shall be turned toward the mercy seat."

"You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark. And in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you."

"There I will meet with you. From above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about everything I command you for the children of Israel."

"You shall also make a table of shittim wood. It shall be two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high."

"You shall cover it with pure gold, and make a gold border around it."

"You shall make a rim around it, a hand's width wide. And you shall make a gold border around the rim."

"You shall make four rings of gold for it, and put the rings at the four corners, which are at its four legs."

"The rings shall be close to the rim, to hold the poles for carrying the table."

"You shall make the poles of shittim wood, and cover them with gold, so that the table may be carried with them."

"You shall make its dishes, and its spoons, and its jars, and its bowls for pouring out offerings. You shall make them of pure gold."

"You shall always set the showbread on the table before me."

"You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work. Its base, its branches, its cups, its buds and its flowers shall all be one piece with it."

"Six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side."

"On one branch there shall be three cups shaped like almonds, with a bud and a flower; and on the other branch three cups shaped like almonds, with a bud and a flower. It shall be the same for the six branches that come out of the lampstand."

"On the lampstand itself there shall be four cups shaped like almonds, with their buds and their flowers."

"There shall be a bud under two branches of it, and a bud under two branches of it, and a bud under two branches of it, for the six branches that come out of the lampstand."

"Their buds and their branches shall be one piece with it. All of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold."

"You shall make its seven lamps. They shall set up its lamps so that they give light in front of it."

"Its tongs and its trays shall be of pure gold."

"He shall make it, with all these vessels, out of a talent of pure gold."

"See that you make them after the pattern which was shown you on the mountain."
