Read Colossians Chapter 4

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

Masters, give your servants what is right and fair. You know that you also have a Master in heaven.

Keep on praying. Stay awake as you pray, and give thanks.

Pray for us too. Ask God to open a door for our message, so that we may speak the mystery of Christ. It is for this that I am in chains.

Pray that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.

Act wisely toward those outside. Make the most of the time.

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt. Then you will know how you ought to answer each person.

Tychicus will tell you all about how I am. He is a dear brother, a faithful servant, and a fellow worker with me in the Lord.

I have sent him to you for this very reason, so that he may know how you are and may comfort your hearts.

With him comes Onesimus, a faithful and dear brother, who is one of you. They will tell you everything that is happening here.

Aristarchus, who is in prison with me, greets you. So does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. You have already been given instructions about him: if he comes to you, welcome him.

Jesus, who is called Justus, also greets you. These are the only ones of the circumcision who work with me for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

Epaphras greets you. He is one of you, and a servant of Christ. He always works hard for you in his prayers, asking that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

I can say this about him: he has a great zeal for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those in Hierapolis.

Luke, the dear doctor, and Demas send you greetings.

Greet the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that meets in his house.

When this letter has been read among you, see that it is read in the church of the Laodiceans too. And you are to read the letter from Laodicea.

And say to Archippus, "Pay attention to the ministry you have received in the Lord, so that you complete it."

I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen. «Written from Rome to the Colossians, sent by Tychicus and Onesimus.»
