2 Corinthians 5 - Summary

Original Summary

Read 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 Summary

Paul expresses confidence that the dissolution of the earthly tent-dwelling will yield a building from God, eternal in the heavens, and that being absent from the body means being present with the Lord. He reveals that all must appear before Christ's judgment seat to receive according to deeds done in the body, and presents the ministry of reconciliation: God in Christ reconciling the world, making Christ who knew no sin to be sin for believers' righteousness.
