Read Zechariah Chapter 3

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest, standing before the angel of the LORD. Satan was standing at his right hand to oppose him.

And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan. The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you. Is this man not a stick pulled out of the fire?"

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.

And the angel spoke to those who stood before him. He said, "Take the filthy clothes off him." And to Joshua he said, "Look, I have taken your sin away from you, and I will dress you in fine robes."

And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in clothes. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

And the angel of the LORD gave Joshua this solemn charge:

"This is what the LORD of hosts says: If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you will rule my house and take care of my courts. And I will give you a place to walk among these who are standing here."

"Listen now, Joshua the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign. Look, I will bring out my servant the BRANCH."

"Look at the stone that I have set before Joshua. On that one stone there are seven eyes. Look, I will carve its carving, says the LORD of hosts, and I will take away the sin of that land in one day."

"In that day, says the LORD of hosts, each of you will invite his neighbour to sit under his vine and under his fig tree."
