Read Revelation Chapter 2

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

"Write this to the angel of the church in Ephesus: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, and who walks among the seven golden lampstands:"

"I know your works, your hard work, and your patience. I know that you cannot put up with those who are evil. You have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and you have found them to be liars."

"You have endured, and you have been patient. You have worked hard for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary."

"But I have something against you: you have left your first love."

"So remember how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first. If you do not, I will come to you quickly and take your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent."

"But this you have in your favour: you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate."

"Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God."

"Write this to the angel of the church in Smyrna: These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and is alive:"

"I know your works, your trouble, and your poverty; but you are rich. And I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan."

"Do not be afraid of any of the things you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is going to throw some of you into prison, so that you may be tested. You will have trouble for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."

"Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death."

"Write this to the angel of the church in Pergamos: These are the words of him who has the sharp sword with two edges:"

"I know your works, and where you live, where Satan has his seat. Yet you hold fast to my name, and you did not deny my faith, even in those days when Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan lives."

"But I have a few things against you. You have people there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balac to put a stumbling block in front of the children of Israel, so that they would eat things sacrificed to idols and commit sexual sin."

"In the same way you also have people who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans, which I hate."

"Repent. If you do not, I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth."

"Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except the one who receives it."

"Write this to the angel of the church in Thyatira: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like fine brass:"

"I know your works, your love, your service, your faith, and your patience. And I know that your last works are more than the first."

"But I have a few things against you. You allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach my servants and to lead them astray, so that they commit sexual sin and eat things sacrificed to idols."

"I gave her time to repent of her sexual sin, and she did not repent."

"Look, I will throw her onto a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great trouble, unless they repent of their deeds."

"I will kill her children with death. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches the inmost thoughts and the hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works."

"But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, to all who do not hold this teaching, and who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them: I will put no other burden on you."

"But hold fast to what you already have, until I come."

"To the one who overcomes, and who keeps my works to the end, I will give power over the nations."

"He will rule them with a rod of iron. They will be broken to pieces like the pots of a potter, just as I myself received from my Father."

"And I will give him the morning star."

"Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
