The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice. Let the many islands be glad.
Clouds and darkness are all around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies on every side.
His lightnings lit up the world. The earth saw it, and trembled.
The hills melted like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of the whole earth.
The heavens tell of his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.
Let all who serve carved images be put to shame, all who boast about idols. Worship him, all you gods.
Zion heard it, and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, LORD.
For you, LORD, are high above all the earth. You are lifted up far above all gods.
You who love the LORD, hate evil. He guards the lives of those who belong to him; he rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for those whose hearts are upright.
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and give thanks when you remember his holiness.
