Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

In you, O LORD, I put my trust. Let me never be put to shame.

Rescue me in your righteousness, and let me escape. Turn your ear to me, and save me.

Be my strong home, where I may always go. You have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unjust and cruel man.

For you are my hope, O Lord GOD. You have been my trust since I was young.

You have held me up from birth. You are the one who took me out of my mother's body. My praise is always of you.

I am like a strange sight to many, but you are my strong refuge.

Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honour all day long.

Do not throw me away when I am old. Do not leave me when my strength fails.

For my enemies speak against me. Those who lie in wait for my life make plans together,

saying, "God has left him. Chase him and catch him, for there is no one to rescue him."

O God, do not be far from me. O my God, hurry to help me.

Let those who accuse me be put to shame and destroyed. Let those who seek to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace.

But I will hope always, and I will praise you more and more.

My mouth will tell of your righteousness and your salvation all day long, for I do not know how to count them.

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD. I will speak of your righteousness, of yours only.

O God, you have taught me from my youth, and until now I have told of your wonderful works.

Now also when I am old and grey-headed, O God, do not leave me, until I have shown your strength to this generation, and your power to everyone who is to come.

Your righteousness also, O God, is very high. You have done great things. O God, who is like you?

You have shown me great and bitter troubles. You will make me live again, and will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

You will make me greater, and comfort me on every side.

I will praise you with the harp, and praise your truth, O my God. I will sing to you with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing to you, and so will my soul, which you have redeemed.

My tongue also will speak of your righteousness all day long, for those who seek to harm me are put to shame and brought to disgrace.
