Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.

From the end of the earth I will cry to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I am.

For you have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower against the enemy.

I will stay in your tent for ever. I will trust in the cover of your wings. Selah.

For you, O God, have heard my vows. You have given me what belongs to those who fear your name.

You will make the king's life long, and his years like many generations.

He will stay before God for ever. Send out mercy and truth to keep him safe.

So I will sing praise to your name for ever, and keep my vows day after day.
