Psalms 13 - Simple English

OriginalSimple EnglishSimpleNew Summary

Read Psalms Chapter 13

For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

1How long will you forget me, O LORD? For ever? How long will you hide your face from me?

2How long must I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy be lifted up over me?

3Look at me and answer me, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death.

4If I do, my enemy will say, "I have won against him." Those who trouble me will be glad when I am shaken.

5But I have trusted in your mercy. My heart will rejoice in your salvation.

6I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt generously with me.
