When the LORD brought back the captives of Zion, we were like people who dream.
Then our mouths were filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad.
Bring back our captives, O LORD, like the streams in the south.
Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
The one who goes out weeping, carrying precious seed, will surely come back with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
