Proverbs 24 - Summary

By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with precious riches. A wise man is full of strength; the wisest of men is mightier than the strong. Do not say, 'I will do to him as he has done to me.' I passed by the field of a sluggard; thorns covered its face, nettles covered its surface, its stone wall was broken down. A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come upon you like a robber.
