The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When a man or a woman makes a special promise, the vow of a Nazarite, to set themselves apart for the LORD,"
"then he must keep away from wine and strong drink. He must drink no vinegar made from wine, and no vinegar made from strong drink. He must drink no juice of grapes, and eat no grapes, fresh or dried."
"For the whole time he is set apart, he must eat nothing that comes from the grapevine, from the seeds to the skin."
"For the whole time of his vow, no razor is to touch his head. Until the days are complete in which he sets himself apart for the LORD, he shall be holy. He shall let the hair of his head grow long."
"For the whole time he sets himself apart for the LORD, he must not go near a dead body."
"He must not make himself unclean even for his father or his mother, for his brother or his sister, when they die. For the sign that he belongs to his God is on his head."
"For the whole time he is set apart, he is holy to the LORD."
"If someone beside him dies very suddenly, so that the head he set apart is made unclean, then he must shave his head on the day he is made clean. On the seventh day he shall shave it."
"On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, at the door of the tent of meeting."
"The priest shall offer one of them as a sin offering, and the other as a burnt offering, and shall make atonement for him, because he sinned by being near the dead body. And that same day he shall make his head holy again."
"He shall set apart for the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb a year old as a trespass offering. But the days that went before are lost, because the time he was set apart was made unclean."
"This is the law of the Nazarite when the days he is set apart are complete: he shall be brought to the door of the tent of meeting."
"There he shall bring his offering to the LORD: one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, one ewe lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,"
"and a basket of bread made without yeast, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and thin wafers without yeast spread with oil, together with their grain offering and their drink offerings."
"The priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering and his burnt offering."
"He shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD, with the basket of bread made without yeast. The priest shall also offer his grain offering and his drink offering."
"The Nazarite shall shave the head he set apart at the door of the tent of meeting. He shall take the hair of the head he set apart and put it on the fire that is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings."
"The priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one cake without yeast out of the basket, and one thin wafer without yeast, and shall put them into the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair he set apart has been shaved off."
"The priest shall wave them before the LORD as a wave offering. This is holy, and it belongs to the priest, along with the breast that is waved and the shoulder that is lifted up. After that the Nazarite may drink wine."
"This is the law of the Nazarite who has made the vow, and of his offering to the LORD for his separation, besides whatever else he can afford. He must do as he vowed, following the law of his separation."
The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Speak to Aaron and to his sons and say: This is how you shall bless the children of Israel. You shall say to them,"
"The LORD bless you and keep you."
"The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you."
"The LORD lift up his face toward you, and give you peace."
"So they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them."
